Lucy The Pilea Peperomioides

LIGHTING FOR YOU PILEA PEPEROMIOIDES

Lucy likes bright indirect sunlight. She also tolerates low levels of lighting which may make her leaves spread out a bit more. Afternoon direct light should be avoided as her leaves will burn. Rotate Lucy every 2-3 days as she will grow quickly towards the sun and become one sided.

WATERING YOUR PILEA PEPEROMIOIDES PLANT

In the summer from March to September, we recommend watering twice a week. Watering Wednesday and Soak Sunday.

In the winter from October to February reduce watering to once a week or less. Still use your finger to test her soil and water if required. Houseplant watering guide

Lucy will droop her leaves when she needs watering, especially in warmer weather.

HUMIDITY FOR YOUR PILEA PEPEROMIOIDES

Lucy will tolerate normal room humidity.

FERTILISER FOR YOUR PILEA PEPEROMIOIDES

From March to August give Lucy some houseplant fertiliser every two months when watering.

REPOTTING YOUR PILEA PEPEROMIOIDES

When the roots start to grow out of the bottom opening of the pot, it is time to put Lucy into a larger pot. For soil, we recommend a well draining soil.
