Sammy likes sunlight but, he is pretty versatile so will take low light conditions as well. As long as you avoid mid day direct sunlight he will be absolutely fine.
In the summer from March to September, we recommend watering every 2-3 weeks. So, there's no need to worry if you're off on holiday.
In the winter from October to February reduce watering to every 4-6 weeks. Watering more than this might cause Sammy's roots to rot, so hold back on the watering. Houseplant watering guide
Sammy will tolerate normal room humidity or slightly higher humidity will be just fine.
Fertiliser for your Sansevieria
From March to August give Sammy some houseplant fertiliser every two months when watering.
Repotting your Sansevieria
When Sammy's roots start to come out of the drainage holes at the bottom of the pot, it is time for repotting, this will most probably be every 2-3 Years. For soil, a well drained potting soil with a cactus mix is perfect.
