Lighting for your Philodendron
Jane likes bright indirect sunlight. She will also tolerate shady spots. But, like most houseplants, bright sun with shade and avoiding hot midday direct sun is perfect for Jane.
Watering your Philodendron
Moist but not soggy is the goal here. Let Jane dry out a little bit before watering again. Make sure she dries out completely in the winter as she will need a lot less water.
Humidity for your Philodendron Plant
Jane is a tropical plant and will do a lot better with humidity. Jane isn't as fussy as some houseplants so low humidity will only cause minor looking imperfections.
Fertiliser for your Philodendron Plant
From March to August give Jane some houseplant fertiliser every month when watering.
Repotting your Philodendron Plant
When the roots start to grow out of the bottom opening of the pot, it is time to put Jane into a larger pot. Make sure you use a good draining light soil.
