ABOUT OUR BLUE SPRUCE
Hello! I’m Buddy the Blue Spruce tree. I’m also known as the Colorado Blue Spruce or Colorado Spruce. As my name would suggest I’m native to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, so if you could only speak in an American accent around me it will definitely make me feel more at home. I’m an easy care tree that you can continue to enjoy after Christmas. Place me in a sunny spot where I can enjoy as much winter sun as possible. Make sure you keep me away from any open fires or radiators. The heat will cause my foliage to lose moisture and my beautiful blue needles will drop.
I’m constantly being told I have the perfect Christmas tree shape. It’s definitely gone to my head and now I think I’m the King of all the Christmas Trees. I’m known to be one of the hardiest types of spruce trees out there so I’ll be happy to keep you company over the Christmas period. But don’t worry, when Christmas is over you can plant me in your garden.
I’m here to spread the Christmas cheer. I come in the perfect compact size so you can place me anywhere you like. In my homeland I can grow up to 23 metres. Luckily they made me in a smaller size, could you imagine if a 23 metre tree turned up at your house?
Medium Height (including nursery pot) 65cm; pot diameter 21cm.(Fits a 21-24cm Pot)

QUICK BLUE SPRUCE PLANT CARE
I prefer a sunny spot, place me somewhere where I can enjoy as much indirect winter sun as possible.
I like to be watered regularly, give me a thorough drink every week. Make sure I have good drainage so I’m not sitting in any excess water.
My foliage can dry out and I prefer to lock in as much moisture as possible. If my needles dry out too much, I will start to drop them. If possible, place a humidifier next to me or mist my foliage regularly.
During summer, I love a dash of fertiliser, which will encourage me to grow.
