QUICK MEDINILLA MAGNIFICA PLANT CARE
Mona will thrive in a sunny and humid environment.
I like a well lit room. Keep me away from any harsh direct light. This will burn my spectacular flowers.
Make sure I never dry out. Water me once or twice a week but don’t let my soil get overly wet or soggy. Small and often amounts will do the trick!
Place me near a humidifier or in a sunny bathroom. I love high levels of moisture on my flowers.
Feed me with a fertiliser once every 2 weeks. You don’t need to fertilise me in the winter months as I won’t be producing any new blooms.

THINGS WE ALWAYS GET ASKED
How do you look after Medinilla Magnifica?
Mona is a stunning tropical plant that loves warm temperatures, high humidity and regular watering. Place her in a bathroom or nearby other humidity loving plants like our Calathea or Alocasia species. Grouping your plants together will help to increase the humidity levels around your plants. The perfect indoor temperature for Mona is 20-25°C. She won't tolerate excessive cold or heat so keep her away from any radiators, drafts or frequently used doors. The Medinilla is a sun loving plant and is more likely to bloom faster in a bright room. Avoid any direct sunlight as this will cause her leaves to dry out and fall off.
How do you make Medinilla Magnifica bloom?
Mona is more likely to bloom in a sunny spot. Use a fertiliser once or twice a month to encourage new flowers. It’s very normal for the flower to wilt and fall off at the end of summer. New growth will appear the following spring.
Is the Medinilla Magnifica lambada toxic?
No. The Medinilla Magnifica lambada is not a toxic plant and perfectly safe to have around curious pets and young children. Another reason to enjoy her summery pink flowers.
