Curtis The Sago Palm Care Guide

LIGHTING FOR YOUR SAGO PALM

Curtis likes bright indirect sunlight. He will also tolerate partial shade. It is best to avoid direct sunlight. East/West facing windows are perfect.

WATERING YOUR SAGO PALM

In the summer from March to September keep Curtis's soil moist, we recommend watering twice a week. Watering Wednesday and Soak Sunday. To make sure you're not overwatering put your finger into the top of the soil, if the soil is wet do not water, if the soil is dry, it's time to water.
In the winter from October to February reduce watering to once a week or less. Curtis doesn't like his soil soggy so make sure you use your finger test before watering.

HUMIDITY FOR YOUR SAGO PALM

Curtis likes humidity. To increase humidity you can use a Humidifier, place Curtis next to other houseplants or you can fill a saucer with pebbles and water, place Curtis on top of this.

FERTILISER FOR YOUR SAGO PALM

From March to August give Curtis some houseplant fertiliser every month when watering.

REPOTTING YOUR SAGO PALM

Curtis is very slow growing, repotting needs to be done every 2-3 years. For soil a well draining and aerated potting mix is needed.
